    International OpenBIO Conference

    This is an annual conference that focuses on the latest advances in bioinformatics, with topics ranging from personalized medicine to data mining. The event is aimed at bringing together leading researchers within the field, and provides a forum for sharing knowledge and collaborating to raise awareness of the importance of bioinformatics in the life sciences.

    Like many others in the reality of the pandemic, the organizers added an online presentation option for those who could not come due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation. The online format made it possible to significantly expand the circle of participants: young scientists presented 71 reports in the conference sections "Virology", "Biophysics", "Biotechnology" and "Molecular Biology", and 30 scientists spoke via videoconference.
